T. Hoffmann et al., PERCOLATIVE BEHAVIOR OF AN ANISOTROPIC 2-DIMENSIONAL NETWORK - GROWTHOF TELLURIUM ONTO AN ORIENTED POLYMER FILM, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 55(3), 1997, pp. 1858-1863
In situ transport measurements during the growth of a thin layer of th
ermally evaporated tellurium onto an oriented polymer film are present
ed. The system, which resembles the characteristics of a two-dimension
al anisotropic network, is analyzed in terms of the current percolatio
n theory. Parameters such as the percolation threshold and the critica
l exponents are calculated for the perpendicular and the parallel orie
ntation. Within the limits of the experiments the values of t(parallel
to) and t(perpendicular to) are estimated to be 1.15 and 1.46, respec
tively.
