Abstract
Communication: The production of molecularly isolated polymers as mole cular wires is a method of controlling the factors? such as microstruc ture, morphology, counter-ion, etc., which influence the properties of the material. Here, porous Vycor glass is used as the host material, Cu-2 circle plus ions which have been previously introduced into the 2 0-200 Angstrom pores promoting the polymerization of pyrrole by reduct ion. The synthesis and properties of the new material are presented.
