Abstract
Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) studies were carried out on Fe/Ni and Fe /CoNbZr multilayers. A simple model taking into consideration the mult ilayered nature of the film was used to calculate the field positions and mode intensities of the experimental spectra. The complicated inte nsity patterns of the modes observed in the FMR spectra of the multila yers were explained in terms of model calculations. The analysis of th e spectra showed that the interface in case of these multilayers is no t sharp and suggested the formation of interfacial alloy. (C) 1995 Ame rican Institute of Physics.
