The magnetic penetration depth lambda(T) of three HgBa2CuO4+delta samp
les with 0.16 less than or equal to delta less than or equal to 0.27 h
as been determined from the reversible magnetization. The obtained lam
bda follows a BCS-like correlation of 1/lambda(2) proportional to 1-(T
/T-c)(2) over whole measured temperature range in an underdoped sample
with T-c similar to 90 K, but deviates significantly from similar fit
s in an overdoped sample with the same T-c and an optimum doped sample
, whose 1/lambda(2)'s depends on T nearly linearly below T-c/2. This a
symmetry between rile underdoped and overdoped samples suggests that t
he T-dependence of 1/lambda(2) is affected by doping in a complicated
way.
