Abstract
Arginine-vasopressin as well as luteinizing hormone (LH)/follicle-stim ulating hormone (FSH) stimulate. progesterone release in superfused hu man granulosa cells. Extracellular administration of inositol trisphos phate (10(-6) mol/l) or calcium ions (10(4) mol/l) mimics the action o f both arginine-vasopressin and LH/FSH and evokes progesterone secreti on in superfused granulosa cells.
