Abstract
Raman scattering was studied in lithium-intercalated polycrystalline V 2O5 films at room temperature. After intercalation. new Raman peaks we re observed in the high frequency region and modifications of the latt ice vibrations of the V2O5 structure were recorded. The two new Raman peaks have been interpreted as intercalation modes in which lithium at oms vibrate in the host lattice using a simple model of lattice dynami cs.
