Abstract
The efficiency of oil shale retorting process can be raised up and, co rrespondingly, the production costs of oil lowered by utilization of b y-prducts - semi-coke and gas - as a fuel for, steam and power generat ion. Different possible flow sheets for the RAS ''Kiviter'' are discus sed.
