Abstract
Radiothermoluminescence (RTL) of adamantylideneadamantane-1,2-dioxetan e, the compound containing a four-membered peroxide chain, was studied . Thermal degradation of the compound yields bright chemiluninescence: [GRAPHICS] Electron capture by the dioxetane cycle stimulates degrada tion of the peroxide, thus enhancing RTL in the temperature range of f reezing-out the molecular mobility of adamantyl units of 1,2-dioxetane molecule.
