Abstract
Glomus tumor of the middle ear and mastoid is exceedingly rare in chil dren. This report details our management of a 13-year-old boy affected by tympanic glomus complicated by chronic middle ear infection that o bscured the tumor. A review of the English literature revealed only 12 other patients suffering from glomus tumor in pediatric age. Diagnosi s, therapy and the differential characteristics of pediatric glomus ar e discussed.
