Abstract
The desorption kinetics from heterogeneous surfaces contain informatio n on energy heterogeneity. Mathematical methods for extracting the ene rgy distribution function from desorption kinetics are developed in st rict formal analogy with the methods developed for equilibrium adsorpt ion. The methods so developed are applied to the time-logarithm law us ually referred to as the Elovich equation. (C) 1995 Academic Press, In c.
