Abstract
A planar version of the BAYAN electromagnetic calorimeter is tested wi th 10, 25, 50 and 100 GeV electrons at CERN SPS beam. The BAYAN energy resolution shows a very low constant term: sigma(E)/E = 7.7%root E 0.2%. In the range E greater than or equal to 100 GeV it drops well be low 1%.
