Abstract
This paper describes a new and simple averaging scheme for spectroscop ic ADCs using a commercially available high speed successive approxima tion ADC. The module is a part of a multichannel analyzer interfaced w ith a microcomputer. This method permits the use of the full number of channels and can be utilised with any ADCs type.
