Abstract
We show that ring-shaped bright soliton structures can exist in focusi ng Kerr media. Ring-shaped bright solitons, being initially at rest, d emonstrate the inherent tendency to shrink. However, the ring axial ro tation makes it possible to stabilize the soliton radius. The analytic al results are confirmed by numerical calculations.
