Abstract
We report a patient who presented with recalcitrant ulcerated papules and plaques on both legs. Histopathology revealed protothecosis, and s ubsequent culture of the lesions grew Prototheca wickerhamii, Gradual resolution of the ulcers occurred on treatment with itraconazole.
