Abstract
Novel dioxetane derivatives 2 with an acridane-10-acetate moiety were prepared and tested for a potential chemiluminescent probe. The 10-ace rate war found to play an important role both in stabilization and in bare-mediated smooth degradation of the dioxetane ring. (C) 1997, Else vier Science Ltd.
