Abstract
X-ray analysis and magnetic properties have been studied for the syste m Co0.6Zn0.4MnxFe2-xO4. The bulk density, X-ray density and porosity w ere also studied. It was found that the lattice constant decreased wit h increasing manganese concentration x. The X-ray density, the bulk de nsity and porosity do depend on the manganese content. The magnetic su sceptibility and the activation energies were found to be increased wi th increasing percentage of the manganese ions while the de conductivi ty decreased.
