The decay of Pm-133 to Nd-133 has been studied with mass-separated sou
rces from the UNISOR facility. Multiscaled spectra of gamma-rays, X-ra
ys, and conversion electrons, as well as gamma gamma t-, X gamma t-, e
gamma t-, and eXt-coincidences were obtained. The half life of Pm-133
was measured to be 15 +/- 3 s. A decay scheme has been constructed co
nsisting of 51 excited states and 106 transitions in Nd-113. Isomers d
ecaying by M3 and E1 transitions are established in Nd-133. The low-ly
ing levels are discussed in terms of the particle-plus-triaxial-rotor
model and the onset of deformation in the region bounded by Z greater
than or equal to 58, N greater than or equal to 76.
