Abstract
Changes of the surface potential of some organic solvents, specificall y ethylene glycol and gamma-butyrolactone, upon adsorption of neutral organic substances have been measured systematically for the first tim e. The experimental results have been compared with the predictions of the ''macroscopic model'' previously proposed by these authors.
