Abstract
The permeation behaviour of single component and binary mixtures of hy drogen, n-butane and carbon dioxide through a silicalite-l membrane as a function of temperature ( steady state) and time (transient) are pr esented. Multicomponent permeation can be well described by the Genera lized Maxwell-Stefan equations.
