S. Kolesnik et al., INFLUENCE OF ANNEALING ON ANISOTROPY OF FLUX TRAPPING IN POLYCRYSTALLINE NB SAMPLES, Solid state communications, 96(6), 1995, pp. 345-347
Flux trapping in polycrystalline Nb samples has been studied for vario
us field orientations. Annealing of the Nb samples changes the charact
er of anisotropy of flux trapping, depending on the annealing temperat
ure. It is shown that the anisotropy of flux trapping is a result of t
he sample geometry as well as of the distribution of defects in the sa
mples. Possible mechanisms of the rearrangement of defects during anne
aling are discussed.
