Abstract
A technique is presented to calculate the impedance of a capacitively fed microstrip antenna starting from the impedance of the antenna with out a capacitor patch, without having to consider the complete configu ration all over again. This allows separation of the analysis of the c apacitive feeding from the analysis of the radiating patch.
