Abstract
A generalised N sub-band cosine modulated filter bank structure is dev eloped for an orthogonally multiplexed QAM system with 2N subchannels. On the basis of this structure, the design and implementation of an O -QAM system can be operated efficiently by using the recently develope d techniques of cosine modulated filter bank analysis/synthesis.
