Abstract
Experimental and theoretical investigations were made of turbulent dif fusion in an industrial CO2 laser with crossed electrodes. The particl e diffusion reduced considerably the spatial inhomogeneity of the gain . The results obtained were used to propose a new method for the deter mination of the turbulent diffusion coefficient.
