The results are given of the calculations of the equilibrium compositi
on of air plasma with products of ablation of Teflon, performed for co
nditions of ballistic experiments in the region of the rear stagnation
point behind a body (2000 K < T < 5600 K, 60 torr < p < 600 ton, 10(-
4) < chi(add) < 0.20, where T is the temperature, p the pressure, and
chi(add) is the number of moles of C2F4 in a mixture with 0.8 moles of
nitrogen and 0.2 moles of oxygen -0.8N + 0.20 + chi(add)). The obtain
ed results provide the input data for further investigation of complex
nonequilibrium processes occurring in the far wake and are of interes
t per se from the standpoint of the physics of low-temperature plasma
seeded with Teflon.
