Abstract
The stress-strain behavior of cross-linked amorphous polybutadiene ure thanes was examined at different strain rates. It was found that, at l ow strain rates, the experimental data are described in terms of Barte nev and Khazanovich's theory. In order to describe the behavior of the se elastomers in a broad range of strain rates, an approach was sugges ted that took into account both stress relaxation and the transformati on of the properties of the elastic network during the deformation of the material.
