T. Kaneyoshi, ROLE OF APPLIED TRANSVERSE FIELD IN A FERRIMAGNETIC BILAYER SYSTEM WITH DISORDERED INTERFACES, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 52(10), 1995, pp. 7304-7307
The effects of an applied transverse magnetic field on magnetic proper
ties in a ferrimagnetic bilayer system with disordered interfaces cons
isting of spin-1/2 and spin-3/2 atoms are investigated with the use of
mean-field theory. We find some characteristic behaviors of the magne
tic properties, such as the possibility of two compensation points str
engthened by applying an appropriate transverse magnetic field.
