The reaction Er-168(d,2n gamma) and conventional in-beam gamma-ray spe
ctroscopy have been used to assign, for the first time, many gamma-ray
transitions to Tm-168. On the basis of gamma-gamma coincidence data,
some of these observed gamma rays are identified as transitions betwee
n the low-spin members of rotational bands in Tm-168, specifically, th
ose with K-pi = 3(+), (3(-)), and (4(+/-)).
