Abstract
We studied the effect of the type of emulsifier on the properties of f luorine-containing polymer latexes (Scotchguard, Asahiguard, LFM-3, et c.) and on the modifying properties of these in surface modification o f textile materials. A method is proposed for calculating the minimum amount of the polymer necessary for effective modification of fabric f ibers.
