Abstract
To test whether the broadband noise in the sliding charge-density wave in o-TaS3 comes from threshold voltage (V-T) fluctuations, simultaneo us measurements were made of the noise in the voltage and in the diffe rential impedance. A major component of the differential impedance noi se was correlated with the voltage noise and had the correct magnitude to be due to V-T noise. However, some of the differential impedance n oise was not correlated with the voltage noise, indicating that V-T no ise is only part of the picture.
