Abstract
Flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy is the procedure of choice for the di agnosis of endobronchial neoplasm. Because of technical limitations of fiberoptic bronchoscopy, the use of ultrasound assistance was initiat ed and evaluated. This article reviews the technique, study design, an d clinical results of ultrasound-assisted fiberoptic bronchoscopy.
