Abstract
A novel chlorine-containing neo-clerodane diterpene, teuracemin, (19-a cetoxy-18-chloro-15,16-epoxy-4 alpha,7 beta-dihydroxy-3,6-dioxo-neo-cl eroda- 13(16),14-dien-20,12S-olide), and three known compounds, teutri fidin, 4 alpha,18-epoxytafricanin A and 20-oxo-teuflavin, were isolate d from the aerial parts of Teucrium racemosum.
