Abstract
From the leaves of Thevetia peruviana four new flavonol glycosides, ka empferol 3-glucosyl(1 --> 4) [6'''-sinapoylglucosyll (1 --> 2) galacto side and 3-[2 ''''-sinapoylglucosyl] (1 --> 4) C6'''-sinapoylglucosyl] (1 --> 2)galactoside and kaempferol and quercetin 3-[6'''-sinapoylglu cosyl] (1 --> 2)galactoside were isolated, together with the known com pounds, kaempferol and quercetin 3-glucosyl(1 --> 2)galactoside. The g lycosides were characterized from FAB mass, H-1 and C-13 NMR and UV sp ectral data.
