Abstract
Two performance analysis and prediction tools have been developed to a ssist in optimizing the performance of distributed memory, message pas sing programs, These tools identify the code sections with poor perfor mance and hardware bottlenecks giving rise to this performance. The us e of these tools provides sufficiently detailed information to the ass ist in performance optimisation.
