Abstract
An algorithm is proposed for calculation of conditions of calcination of ''raw'' carbon-graphite electrodes, which takes into account the se paration and diffusion rates for pitch and coal tar pyrolysis. Prevent ion of electrode destruction under the pressure of gaseous pyrolysis p roducts is selected as the optimization criterion.
