Abstract
The effects of the deoxynucleotide triphosphate analogs 2'-deoxyinosin e 5'-triphosphate and 5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine 5'-triphosphate on the e nhancement of random mutation in PCR were investigated. Addition of th ese analogs was found to be an effective and easy method for making va rious mutant DNA sequences of lacZ'.
