Abstract
We determined the isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium data for the terna ry system water + ethanol + hexyl acetate at 101.325 kPa using a disti llation apparatus recycling both liquid and vapor phases. The results were compared with those predicted using group contribution methods. T he UNIFAC method gave the best predictions.
