Abstract
The effect of magnesium chloride on the vapor-liquid equilibria for th e system ethanol + benzene at different salt concentrations was studie d at 100.0 kPa. The measured mole fractions in the vapor phase were co rrelated by the Johnson-Furter and Sada models. Thermodynamic consiste ncy was checked by the restricted range area test with satisfactory re sults.
