Abstract
A new semi-empirical formula for the evaluation of (n,p) reaction cros s-sections at the energy of 14.5 MeV is presented. The formula was der ived on the basis of analytical expressions for the evaluation of the proton spectrum within the frame of pre-equilibrium exciton and evapor ation models. In the description of experimental data chi(2) is a mini mum value as compared to other known systematics. The systematics obta ined reproduce both the measured cross-sections of the (n,p) reactions and the experimental values of the pre-equilibrium component of the ( n,p) reaction cross-section.
