C. Kentgeskirschbaum et M. Petzold, ORGANIZATION OF DAILY ROUTINES IN FAMILIE S WITH SMALL CHILDREN - 4 CASE-STUDIES ON MEDIATING PROCESSES, System Familie, 8(3), 1995, pp. 130-145
Within the Dusseldorf Longitudinal Study ''From Lovers To Parents'' th
e second part of this project consisted of four case studies with resp
ect to daily routines in families with children from early pre-school
age up to the first year of school. This study is based on the systemi
c-ecological model for the analysis of family interaction and social i
nfluences. In addition to the quantitative description of characterist
ics of family development the qualitative in-depth-interviews have bee
n interpreted in a multi-level approach and summed up as cases studies
. The following presentation discusses the main questions within the t
heoretical framework for the analysis of daily family routines. After
a short summary of methodological issues an overview on the results of
the case studies is given with emphasis on the mediating processes in
the organisation of daily routines. The results of these evaluations
of the interviews distinguished different kinds of family exposes and
morphostatic versus morphogenetic regulation processes.
