Abstract
Lithium-doped C-60 was prepared by the thermal decomposition of lithiu m azide (LiN3). The samples of the nominal composition Li4C60 and Li8C 60 showed a Curie-like behavior of ESR intensity, indicating an insula ting state. Inevitably, they were not superconducting without a low-fi eld signal (LFS).
