HERMIN IRELAND

We describe the design, construction, estimation and testing of the Ir ish HERMIN model. The specific selection of model features from the ge neral HERMIN outline is related to the structure of the Irish economy. The standard model tests indicate an economy that is very exposed to world influences, particularly through foreign direct investment and l abour migration.
