We report the development of a flux-limiting algorithm for radiative t
ransfer in a Markovian mixture consisting of two immiscible materials.
The underlying stochastic transport description consists of two coupl
ed equations of radiative transfer for the ensemble-averaged specific
intensity of radiation. This transport description, while exact only i
n the absence of scattering, has been demonstrated to be a robust and
accurate model in the presence of scattering. The flux-limited diffusi
on description developed here is applicable to general three-dimension
al geometry, in contrast to an earlier effort where algebraic difficul
ties prohibited explicit results except in a one-dimensional setting.
