Abstract
The primary objective of endometrial ablation is to limit uterine blee ding and produce amenorrhea. This procedure has had a significant impa ct on the management of intractable menorrhagia. This article discusse s laser ablation of the endometrium, preoperative preparation of the e ndometrium, clinical experience, postoperative hormonal medication, re sults, complications, and electrosurgical endometrial ablation methods .
