Abstract
This is a practical introduction to the Source Code Control System (SC CS) for the development and protection of textures. Familiar in softwa re projects, it can be a valuable aid for CAD using textual hardware d escription. A Verilog example illustrates the method, and then the sys tem's most useful features are explained.
