Abstract
The design of a data processing prototype for intensity based fiber op tic sensors is presented. This processing unit fulfills the requiremen t of a simple and reliable measurement technique to the laboratory use r. In this particular experiment, the data processing unit was tested for an optical fiber displacement sensor.
