Abstract
Renzapride, a 5HT(3) receptor antagonist and gastric motility stimulan
t has been reported(1). In order to undertake receptor binding studies
, high specific activity tritiated renzapride (BRL 24924) was synthesi
sed. This was achieved by catalytic tritio dehalogenolysis of a corres
ponding halogenated analogue to produce [H-3] renzapride with a specif
ic activity of 16.3Ci.mmol(-1).
