Addition of allylic stannanes to C-60 takes place under UV-irradiation
in benzene as well as benzonitrile to yield the allylic fullerenes, o
f which the asymmetric version with pinene-derived chiral allylic stan
nane leads to an enantio-pure fullerene terpenoid.
