Abstract
Anecdotal evidence exists to support the view that certain neuroleptic and tricyclic antidepressant drugs are effective in treating monosymp tomatic hypochondriasis. In the following case report, pimozide produc ed a dramatic improvement in a patient with a long-standing fear of em itting body odour or halitosis.
