Abstract
A trial was conducted in a semi-organised buffalo farm in western Indi a with strategic long-term low-level administration of fenbendazole in corporated medicated urea molasses blocks to understand its nematocida l efficacy and production response in buffaloes. Results indicated tha t the anthelmintic delivery system could effectively remove already es tablished adult parasites and prevent larval establishment. The treate d buffaloes produced more milk (P < 0.01) from 45 days onward with a n et gain of 1.20 litre per day.
