TRUE TAIL IN A NEWBORN

Human true tail is a rarely reported anomaly that may have a marked ps ychologic impact on the patient's family and may be associated with ot her congenital anomalies. A true tail in a newborn girl is reported, a nd findings from a review of the literature are summarized. The clinic al and pathologic differential diagnoses are discussed, as they might affect the management and prognosis of this congenital malformation.
